Quirky. Fun. Loving.

Kevin and Ash are the perfect fit. Like, two peas in a pod or peanut butter and jelly, they couldn’t be more perfect together! I first had the opportunity to meet with them over coffee, and as we sipped our drinks we chatted about their life and their love story. Kevin and Ash are a huge part of the Dallas Hamiltunes community that I never knew existed. Every week they meet up, and sing the songs from the Broadway hit along with other friends, equally in love with the musical too! In fact, one of my dear friends Melody, knows this sweet couple from the same group and was the awesome person who referred this couple my way! 🙂 So, it was the perfect setting when Kevin, along with the help of some of their friends, surprised Ash with his proposal!

As their wedding day finally arrived, we arrived at the cutest airbnb in Fort Worth, just minutes from downtown and Artspace111. The bride, her family and closest friends were all smiles as they hung out and got ready together. It wasn’t long after that it was time to pack up and head for the venue. Once we arrived to the art gallery and were setting up for the ceremony when we learned that both the bride and groom had planned surprises for one another. It was no surprise to me that they had this all planned out! One of the several surprises planned was that Ash would walk down to a song that Kevin had no idea of, but was meaningful to their relationship. As she walked down the aisle, arm linked with her dads, she smiled on at her groom who was grinning from ear to ear. The ceremony was so sweet, and filled with smiles and laughter. The couple’s family and friends looked on as Ash and Kevin vowed themselves to each other in love and in marriage, and exchanged their rings. Finally, officially being declared as husband and wife they kissed as the crowd cheered them on!

Their wedding reception opened up with a surprise Hamiltunes sing along, that their wedding DJ and friend Melody had secretly planned for the couple along with several of their friends! So many surprises. Ha! With the reception being outside, it was a bit cold. But that didn’t stop any of the guests from dancing all night! It’s the perfect way to stay warm at an outdoor wedding, after all. 😉 Melodies and Memories kept the 90s jams flowing all night as everyone gathered around the dance floor. It was an awesome party!
