At the beginning of the year I was contacted by Janice about a possible family session for the Spring. We chatted back and forth for awhile, and planned to meet up in April in order to have the session with some good ol’ Texas bluebonnets! As our date was getting closer, rain and gloomy clouds were casting themselves across Fort Worth. Unfortunately, we rescheduled our date for the following week, and low and behold, we had SUN! I’m in love with the beautiful, glowing evening sun that comes around this time of year. 🙂 I’m so glad we finally were able to make this sweet family session happen, and that the weather held off for that day! Janice, her son and her grand-daughter joined me, walking through the field with their pups in tow. It is always a good idea to include your fur babies during your portrait session! During our time together, Janice mentioned to me how her beautiful white dog named Dakota was her service dog, and had actually lived longer than he was supposed to. My heart melted right then and there! We definitely had to document portraits of just the two of them together. This Spring family session is one of my favorites, and I am happy to have been able to document these moments and portraits.
Janice, it was lovely working with you!
