Friends, it goes without saying how much I love what I do. They say, that “if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life,” and I couldn’t agree more with that statement. It’s almost been two years since I left my ‘day job’ and took on photography as a full-time gig, and I’ve never looked back. In this year alone, I’ve seen so much growth in my business, and I’ve met some of the coolest, most down-to-earth couples ever, and I’m blessed beyond measure to be their photographer.

Dean + Edlin are one of those awesome couples. They were referred to me by a friend and fellow photographer, and we instantly clicked over coffee and good conversation as we talked about their wedding plans, and how they met. It was love at first sight between those two, and I’m forever grateful to know them! They were married on a sunny Summer day at the brand new Rolling Hills Ranch in Decatur, Texas. Their wedding was the first to be had there! How cool is that?! The day they married was one of the hottest days we had yet back in June, but that didn’t keep them from having a good time! Surrounded by family and friends, Dean and Edlin said ‘I do’ and devoted their lives to one another in love and in marriage. Now, introduced as Mr. and Mrs. Newberry, they entered their reception and partied the night away!
