From the moment I met Ash and Kevin, I knew that they were going to be a lot of fun to be around! We met up at our local Starbucks and bonded over coffee. I learned about how they met, how he proposed, and all the little quirky things that make their relationship unique. So, it was no surprise to me that when we were planning their engagement session Ash had an idea. You know me folks, I’m always down with the weird and creative ideas! Bring them on! She mentioned having the session at IKEA, like the great big Swedish furniture and decor store we know and love. YES! Is what I replied, pretty much on the spot.

This cute couple had been inspired by one of my last engagement sessions that I photographed at a Dave & Busters, and they wanted something uniquely their own. Heads up future couples, I’m always up for something new! 😉 As we made our way through the store, we weaved past customers and tried our best to not be too distracting to those around us, although we weren’t very good about that. People watched and smiled, as if we were on set for a magazine photo shoot. Ha!
