This time, every year, North Texas experiences a beautiful bloom of wildflowers with plenty of bluebonnets and Indian paintbrushes scattered through fields. However, this year is said to be the biggest bloom of wildflowers Texas has seen in a decade. That’s so amazing! With that in mind, I just knew I needed to have a session featuring some of these gorgeous blooms, and so I was on the hunt for a field with wildflowers to take portraits in.

While driving about in Denton, I stumbled across this open field in a neighborhood filled with the pretty pink wildflowers we all love. It was a gorgeous sunny evening when Kaci and her family met me, and we started with maternity portraits and capturing this gorgeous mama’s growing baby bump! Her daughter was the sweetest, and gave the cutest grins as she ran through the flowers and gave her mom plenty of love and hugs. 🙂
