This has been one busy season, for sure! I’ve finally caught up on work, and am so excited to be sharing this wedding with you. We traveled 944 miles from Texas to Gull Lake, Michigan to meet with this happy couple, and document their story! It was about eight years ago that I left Texas to spend my summer working at Gull Lake Ministries, and it was there that I met Noelle and her family. The same camp I worked at, would be the location for their beautiful wedding day.
Noelle + Jeneeth story begins while they were both attending Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. Just a few years before meeting each other, Jeneeth was studying at home in Hyderabad, India and felt called to move across the ocean to continue his studies. Together, their passion and love for God and serving people is so evident in everything they do. When I finally met Jeneeth I could tell he was Noelle’s person.
Once we arrived and were settled in our home away from home, we got to spend time walking around and observing the beauty of this lakeside camp. Just a couple days before the wedding, their family and friends gathered and I had the opportunity to witness a Haldi ceremony for the first time. You can view it here! The day of the wedding we managed to fight off the rain, and even traveled to Kellogg Manor House to photograph their first look! This historical landmark was once the home to W.K. Kellogg, of Kellogg cereal. How cool! Noelle wore a traditional Indian bridal sari, and looked absolutely gorgeous as she walked down with her dad to meet her soon-to-be husband. Surrounded by all their friends and family, they vowed their love to one another, sang, and said ‘I do.’
Noelle + Jeneeth, it was so great working with you and your families! Congrats, again!
